The Imara spirit

Imara means "solid and sustainable" in Swahili, the Eastern African vehicle language. This is the spirit that our brand of African teas, from artisanal and equitable production, infuses. Our teas combine quality and traditional know-how, by directly associating with our producer and picker approach grouped into cooperative.

Customers' opinion

Jérôme Caërou

Imara client

I was able to taste tea during a preview, superb flavors and above all a good commitment in favor of small African producers. Since then, he has accompanied me to the office!

Barbara Laporte

Imara client

Very nice brand, very beautiful products, very beautiful commitments. This year Santa Claus 🎅 will bring tea from Imara in her hood. . . Right now it's black tea every day I love it. 🧡

Alexis Slama

Imara client

I drink tea every day and I had the chance to taste the teas of Imara. As much for flavors as for their commitments, I recommend their products with your eyes closed. Bravo for your work 👏

The origins of the brand

Made in Africa

We select for you the best teas and infusions from small producers in East Africa. Due to their harvest, the care attached to their making, we offer you high -end teas and infusions that will awaken your palace and your curiosity.

Organic

Imara Tea is now organic certified. By creating our brand, and launching our Kenya collection, we wanted to support the cooperative on its transition to organic. After a year and a half of collective work it could be achieved!

"Rare and soft yellow tea"

"The African terroir in your cup"

"African delights to infuse"

"Une nouvelle gamme de thés glacés au nom évocateur"

"Très peu sucrés, mais très riches en saveurs, ils se révèlent aussi particulièrement désaltérants."
